In the thought of one who is at ease there is contempt for misfortune; it is ready for those whose feet slip.We've all been in these conversations: the one at ease saying what some unfortunate should have done. It's easy after the fact to say what should have been done.
It's easy to sit back and pontificate rather than stand with the unfortunate one, shovel in hand, waist deep in the muck. Words are always easier than actions. If there are to be words let them be of mercy, encouragement and the calling in of God's purity, power and provision. Intercession is far more effective an agent for change than the empty words of the comfortable.
